The planning permit for the use and development of a Renewable Energy Facility (PA2201581) was granted by DELWP on 24 November 2023. The permit application was exhibited to the public for comment from 31 August 2022 until 31 October 2022.

A separate planning permit (PA2201734) was lodged and granted for the associated overhead transmission line between the Project site and Barnawartha Zone Substation (at the Logic Industrial Estate). The permit application was exhibited to the public for comment from 31 August 2022 until 31 October 2022.
The permit was granted on 13 April 2023.
